[Alright, quick recap on what's going on since, like, two months ago - the Gokaigers had been confronted by Satoru Akashi, the former Bouken Red of the Go Go Sentai Boukenger, with a mission: to help him find the Yomi Heart, a very powerful Precious. In that time, the Gokaigers follow Satoru to where the treasure is located, only to find the Zangyack there looking for it, too. Captain Marvelous and Luka opted to join Satoru in finding the treasure while Gai and the other Gokaigers stayed behind to deal with the Zangyack. Which was a problem in and of itself because of their lack of coordination: Gai transformed into Shurikenger of the Ninpuu Sentai Hurricanger while the others transformed into the members of the Ninja Sentai Kakuranger (which, as Gai points, didn't have a Sixth Ranger)

Marvelous, Luka and Satoru have their own problems, though - someone else had beaten them to the Yomi Heart and used it to revive Ryuuwon, one of Satoru's old foes. The creature uses the power of the Yomi Heart to seal away the trio inside the cave he was revived in and goes off to smack around the other Gokaigers.

As the trio comes to, we catch them having a conversation of sorts...]

Looks like the adventures you speak of are pointless

You guys have probably experienced many adventures. I'm sure you've gotten something precious out of adventures than just treasure. Something personal to you.

Personal to us?

It is when adventurers face an obstacle that their hearts get excited. The joy of that adventure is an irreplaceable treasure. Isn't it the same with you?

The joy... of adventure...

[And as Marvelous muses on that, he flashes back to his time with Aka Red, the personification of the Red Rangers. He thinks back to being rescued by the hero from a trap and, in turn, rescuing him. Reaching the end of their search, Marvelous digs through some rubble and discovers something in it - the Bouken Red Ranger Key.]

...damn, you sure are an optimist.

So, what'll we do with that Precious thing?

We can't collect it with it absorbed in Ryuuwon's body. We'll have to destroy it.

No. It's not over yet.

What?

I'll show you. This is how pirates do things!

[with that, the two pirates hop up and use their guns to free themselves from the cave. Just in time, too, as they're needed!]

[And there's a video of Gai and he's... not too happy. Like something crawled down his pants or something.]

Okay, guys, serious thing here. Help me settle something me. Once and for all.

[And he holds up a picture of sumofallreds]

This guy. Everyone on the ship says that he's the captain of the Gokai Galleon. That he's Gokai Red. That's not true and I know that. Whoever this guy is, the rest of the crew's been fooled, but I'm not. These things happened all the time - he's obviously some sort of spy for the Zangyack and he's got the rest of the crew brainwashed into thinking he's the captain!

I know you guys have seen him, so you agree he's not the captain, right? Right?

[And the video snaps on to show... Gai in utter bliss, looking at what appears to be an autograph book. Wait, wasn't he dealing with zombies earlier? Why isn't he acting all mopey like, oh, say, the Precure?]

...Oh! Everyone! Hope you guys are okay! Sorry, but the second we got back, we got roped into another adventure! With a real adventurer! We're going treasure hunting with a real treasure hunter!

[And he snaps open the book showing off the autograph]

Satoru Akashi - Bouken Red - has asked us to help find a very powerful Precious: The Yoma Heart! I didn't know this, but he'd already given Marvelous-san the Boukenger Greater Power. Musta been before I joined.

But, isn't this great!? Treasure hunting for real treasure! With the Chief!

And I got his autograph!

[The video starts up with... Gokai Silver? Either way, he's looking at two keys - the Go-On Silver and Go-On Gold ones, looking at them both curiously. Then, he starts concentrating and they fuse, becoming the Go-On Wings key. Then, he brings out the other Sixth Ranger keys and, with a bit more concentrating, creates the Anchor Key.]

Sweet! A bit more practice and I won't have to really work on this! Ah, but I wonder how far I can push it... m-maybe I could do something like... oh, KingRanger and Mega Silver! Nah... oh, I know! Dragon Ranger and KibaRanger... now, that's just too weird there!

But, now I wonder... if I can fuse keys like this... can I make 'em, too?

(OOC Note: Joint post with do_it_ecstatically. Marvelous will talk in Red, while Gai will speak in grey.)

[The video cuts in to a view of a lush forest, the Gokaiger's huddled together back-to-back, awaiting some kind of threat.]

"Could this be the Galactic Forest's barrier?"

[Before anyone else can speak, a man in ornate garb is thrown through a shattering invisible barrier by someone else. He berates the thrown man while stepping out. Marvelous recognizes and reacts with a growl.]

"Basco!"

[The man's mood seems to brighten, as he greets the still mostly-glowering Gokaigers. It's obviously a front though, at least to everyone but Gai.]

"Huh? Is he a friend of you guys?"

"Nothing like that. To get ahold of the Greatest Treasure in the Universe, he betrayed his comrades. He's nothing but Zangyack-allied scum!"

[Soon enough, a battle ensues, Basco summoning clones of Sentai allies and setting his monkey, Sally loose on them. Gai is ordered away with the man, Hyuuga, who is an ally to Gingaman, the group of Sentai they'd been searching for. The camera seems to follow Gai and Hyuuga's get-away, stopping in a small quarry, where Gai tends to the man's heavy wounds. He explains how he became Gokai Silver, to which Hyuuga responds to, making Gai go...]

"Hyuuga-san...as Gokai Silver?"

[The veteran warrior has offered his services to go in Gai's stead, making Gai debate on whether he should give up his mantle to Hyuuga for the betterment of the planet. But his decision is cut off by Basco returning, and forcibly trying to extract the Gingaman Grand Power from Hyuuga with his strange trumpet. Gai attempts to intervene, but his Gokai Cellular is tossed aside. Marvelous does manage to catch up and stops Basco's attempt before it's too late, but is soon set upon by a Ranger Key clone of Hyuuga's alter ego, Black Knight. Basco taunts Marvelous, telling him to give up, as the other clones arrive after shaking the other Gokaigers. Marvelous responds:]

"Obtaining the Greatest Treasure in the Universe is MY dream. And I'm not giving it up for ANYONE!"

[This inspires Gai, who instantly shoves Hyuuga, who has been creeping over to the dropped henshin device, aside. He explains how he can't let Hyuuga take his dream of protecting the planet himself away, to which Hyuuga accepts, saying that's what he'd been wanting to hear from Gai. As the other Goakiger arrive, they all line up to transform anew, and fight off the clones...]

[And the camera cuts on to show... what looks like something out of a Godzilla movie! Some innocent part of Tokyo's under attack by... GouZyuRex?! What the hell? Even more, if you look up top, you can see... Dragon Ranger? Isn't he supposed to be dead? And then, he speaks!]

Mwa-hahahahahaha! At lasht, without the Power Rangersh to shtop me, I'll make thish world prime for Empresh Rita'sh conquesht! Let'sh go, Dragonzord! [And then, pulling out the dagger by his side, he awkwardly plays a tune. Power Rangers? Rita? Dragonzord?

If it isn't obvious already, Gai's gotten himself drunk, rewired his fanboyism and now thinks he's evil Tommy. Which one's the virus' doing? Probably all of it.]

[Video of a very familiar pirate ship appears, showing someone very different than Gai. He's busy at the console, typing away.]

Urgh. How does Doc remember this complicated sequence for the radar?

[He types some more, his face looking more and more frustrated as he does so. Finally he slams his hand down on the console, looking up at the screen...and noticing the ducks for the first time. He'll look confused for a second, as this is quite new. He'll start thinking about how the hell this happened.]

It can't be from me. Doc wouldn't pull pranks like this, and Luka doesn't have the technical know-how TO pull it. Joe and Ahim are out of the question....

[And then his face goes as red as his coat.]

GAI! GET YOUR BUTT UP HERE AND EXPLAIN THIS!

It's the day of the Tanabata Festival, and Yayoi is fielding traffic to and fro from the Mysterious Library and meeting people who are coming in with their own worldhops. You may see some of her teammates around including a fairy named Pop around today, but for the purpose of it, everything is funtimes!

There's a lot of people around and arriving at the front gates of the festival grounds, there's a ton of stuff to do, such as fish catching, food vendors and other assorted games. Have a ball and mingle. Because tonight, the Smile Precure are in for the fight of their lives.

Pegasus Day is upon us as well, since Marchenland celebrates the same occasion on the same day. So try not to ride the Pop!Pegasus around too much.

[A video screen pops on to show what looks like the inside of a pirate ship. A very fancy one. And a bit on the hi-tech side. After awhile, you finally hear singing as this goofball dances his way around, cleaning up around the place!]
