I'm not an alchemist but...it's a combination of one being with another. Mr. Heinkel was combined with a lion and Mr. Darius with an...an ape. And I heard about creatures that were combinations of animals.

A Chimera is an alchemical construct made from the bodies of two or more living beings. Traditionally, animals are used, but there have been... a few notable cases where the body of a human is meshed with that of an animal.
