Damn right I did, and that's my decision. He asked for my help. You didn't have to come, and I did help him, I think. I've spent a lot of time with Greed and I like him. He's a friend to me. What did you think I was doing when I was at home?

Greed and I and the chimeras were in hiding. I know all about who Greed is, and the Greed on the community is a lot like him. Despite his shady appearance, he's not usually dishonest, at least, not overtly.

Of course I did! Like you've ever in your life thought anything through. He's a homonculus. And even if it wasn't yet another hare-brained scheme to kidnap us, you were still trapped in a fight with two immortal beings set on destroying each other. How long do you think Greed would have mourned if you'd gotten caught between them? You might get ten whole minutes! Never mind that Naoto did get a concussion and could have had worse if Dad hadn't been there.

I'm not taking responsibility for Naoto. She chose to stay of her own free will as did you. Naoto has taught me I can't take responsibility for everyone else's choices. She's planning on facing the Father down with us, did you know that?

It's not your fault. Nothing is anyone's fault. You're mad because I made a choice to help my friend. You're pissed that you feel you had to go out of your way to come. I'm telling you you didn't have to come. That was your choice, at least own that much!

But I am not going to feel guilty because you didn't want to come and you did. I'm not blaming you for anything.
