I apologize for rambling! My name is Octavia! I'm a citizen from the Capitol. The Capitol rules over the people of Panem--the world I'm from. Things have gotten a little...dark here. It's not a cheerful place anymore. It used to be a lot of fun! Now, it's very hard to obtain anything from food to information. No one wants to talk about it. Not that I don't blame them. [The video feed suddenly flicks on. Nothing seems to be happening, and there's nothing but floor in view, until it swerves around to show a side view of Metal holding three dolls tightly, as if hugging someone. He focuses on the blue one for a moment, shaking his head slightly before saying something quietly to it.

Afterward, he turns his head slowly to face the camera. His usual glaring face seems tamer than normal in a way. He speaks, his somewhat deep robotic voice no longer sounding angry but with an unusual cheerfulness]

[Normally he'd feel unpleasant towards everyone else, more-so towards fleshlings. Someone's in a personality flip.]

I hate it when people talk about their past. You don't realize what a precious thing you have.

Having your memories, even the annoying ones, is better than not having them or only having small fragments of them. Having them makes you a whole person.

[As the video starts up it does not seem to be coming from a book's lower angle as it usually does for Rapunzel. Instead the angle is straight on. Rapunzel herself seems to be posing elegantly in her seat. Suddenly she scowls.]

Oh, what is this stupid thing doing here? I was just trying to admire myself! I can hardly do that with this in the way. Bring my mirror back at once! I have much better things to do than talk to the people here.

So, I've started to realize how much I don't fit in this world. It's boring, everyone lives in fear, and hardly anyone can appreciate who I am here.

[The computer seems to have turned on without aid so that the community can see Aya coming into the room carrying a large mesh bag with soccer balls in it. He seems completely exasperated.]

It is difficult, at times, to visit this community. I grow tired of observing worlds were the hope and happiness that has long since deserted my own people can be seen so clearly.

Today, I have seen a number of "heroic" individuals begging for acknowledgement and recognition. To those, I say this: what right do you have to demand such things, when I am the one in dire lack of them?
