There's a person you like - are attracted to, at least, is probably more accurate - but you're going to just be friends with them for a while.

How do you quiet all of your signals and not flirt with them, at all?

I should be allowed to go hunting even though I'm a girl, shouldn't I?

Today in my world is a religious holiday called Ash Wednesday. It marks the start of a 40 day period of self denial in most variations of my faith, some with stricter restrictions than others. What's common is the practice of giving up some personal vice or habit until the 40 days are up -- as long as it's something that will be a challenge for the one who decides on it, it will do. I've decided to let my hair remain its natural color.

[Yes, he does mean the deep red is his real color instead of the blond he was until recently.]

What sort of things would you find easiest and hardest to give up for that long if you had to?

[OOC: If threads end up veering towards religious talk, please keep things civil OOCly even if there are IC conflicts.]

[This is what happens when someone with no technical knowledge at all tries to filter a post away from one person.]

[If said person so much as sneezes, they'll probably find it. Great security, Lancer.]

Would someone explain to me in reasonable detail what modern humans do on a 'date'?

Well, it seems our time spent in this rather quaint little village is going to be over soon. That means I get to go shopping. While I already have a list of things we need, does anyone have any suggestions that might make another long stretch of road a bit more bearable?

[Shijima is in a lovely school uniform today, leaning forward in a chair with her arms stretched out over a desk, fingers curled.]

School isn't so bad, as it turns out. It's interesting enough. The people are more interesting than anything else about it, though. [she yawns widely, her back arching for a moment.] The principal is dying, and there's going to be a ninja conference here very soon, so maybe that will keep things from becoming boring. Everyone is hurried. I've never understood rushing when there's always plenty of time.

There's something else, though.
