Video | Here all your walls surround me
[He's sitting propped up in his bed, face tipped down to look directly into the camera. He's smiling, a faint upturn of his lips to match the ambiguous calm of his eyes. A familiar expression on an unfamiliar face.

The restlessness humming beneath his skin is gone, and he is very calm and very still as he says very clearly:]
I fucking hate this community. Does anyone know what the fuck is going on?

[The words fall wrong, a discordant note, as though he's trying to inject someone else's anger into them.

The video ends.]

Whoever's pulling this better stop right now.

[Kefka looks like shit. No amount of red make up can hide how baggy his eyes have gotten or how hollow his cheeks have gotten.]

I don't have time for these shenanigans. Get over here so I can put you to sleep and I can get back to things more important than wallowing in your pity!

Lancer || Diarmuid Ua Duibhne

[video] // fatalize
Something's wrong. Something's very wrong here.

[Unusually, Lancer seems...annoyed. The calm and collected Servant in civilian clothes was tapping his fingers impatiently against the table and even scowling faintly as he thought things over.]

[Something was, as he'd said, very wrong. He was restless to an extreme degree, impatient, and irritated with just about everything at the moment. But instead of focusing on the larger picture of what could have caused the change of heart, Diarmuid overlooked that problem completely and focused instead on what he was restless over.]

[That problem was obvious, wasn't it? He was a Servant, a knight, yet his skill and power in combat was being left ignored and unused. It was a travesty to have one of the Fianna simply left out of a fight for so long. Fighting was in his nature, it was all he knew and what he excelled at. How could he just remain living a normal human life when there was a massive community full of worthy opponents just waiting for a challenge? Diarmuid didn't know or care why his outlook had taken a sharp turn into recklessness and he didn't care. All that mattered was that he wanted, needed to find a worthy adversary like he needed to breathe. Every part of him was screaming for a fight, and he couldn't ignore it any longer.]

[He stood up abruptly with an intense spark blazing in golden eyes, ironclad determination clear in every small movement. In a flash of magical energy, his armor materialized in place of the ordinary clothes and a crimson lance appeared in his hand.]

...I want to fight one of you. I'll accept a simple sparring match if you wish, I don't care. I just need to fight someone.

[ooc: Fair warning--the Nasuverse is incredibly broken with powerlevels. If anyone takes him up on the offer? He's several times faster than any human, the lance cancels out magic and things summoned with magic, and he can take a hit and keep on comin' like nobody's business. In short: how about some nice nonfatal sparring? /sob gdit Nasu

Thanks a lot, murderhound.]

[Voice]
[For once, Pepper is refraining from video today... if only because she doesn't feel like letting people see her right now. She sighs softly, some of the, er, pep, gone out of her voice as she dictates]

Does anyone else feel... different today? I can't seem to put my finger on it but I just feel off, for lack of a better term. A few people suggested a virus, could this be another one?

I don't get it.  Why am I so depressed and angry all of a sudden?  I thought I was over this.

...Jazz is going to try to psychoanalyze me again.  I just know it.

Nick Fury

[The feed turns on in an office. It's very sparse, almost clinical looking, with silver walls and dark monitors everywhere. There's a giant SHIELD emblem on the wall directly behind the chair... the chair currently occupied by a rather disgruntled looking Nick Fury. He's leaning back in said chair with his feet on the desk and his fingers laced together in front of his chest.]

Now I've heard about some of these viruses. I find it difficult to believe that a virus can change a person's mental state beyond driving them completely insane. However, I find myself in a position where I have no choice but to acknowledge the existence of such things and now must ask - how long do the effects generally last? Bec-

[There's a knocking on his office door. He rolls his eye and barks in that direction]

What part of 'leave me the hell alone' is so difficult to understand?

[He slams his hand down on the desk and the feed cuts. Excuse him, folks, he's got some bitching out to do. He'll return in a moment.]

I'm not sure what it is... but I keep having moments of being worried about something. I don't know why. I'm not doing anything that would make me worried about something.

I'm not sure what's causing it, but I hope it goes away soon.

[This appears to be the most adorable virus post ever. James is in a sitting room that can only be Lord Akeldama's; it's pink with green trim. His arms are out in front of him, and resting the length of them, her head cradled in his palms, is Prudence. James is cooing at her, his cheeks puffed out -- when suddenly he stops. A look of pain and regret crosses his face, combined with the sudden desire to leave Eames for his own good -- all he ever does is hurt him. Which would make perfect sense, if he were with Eames. Clearly shaken, he sets the baby in her bassinet.]

That is certainly unsettling. Arthur, a word?

[This is going to be so awkward to for both of them.]

So I think I got this working right. It's kinda like a typewriter with a little typing window thingy. I can get behind that. Does it really send my words to this duck community? Because that would be really, really neat.

Okay gonna hit post.

[When the video cuts on, the first thing that fills the frame is a wide pair of brown eyes. They glance downwards, apparently noticing that it's recording, and then the person those eyes belong to gasps quietly and ducks out of the frame, only momentarily revealing a very pale, pretty face with delicate features. After a moment of quiet, she peers over the edge of the table that the laptop seems to be sitting on, her eyes on the screen rather than the lense of the camera. Not that she would even know what the camera WAS. A small hand, white as what little of the face you can now see, gingerly reaches into the frame, touching the screen; she pulls away quickly, as if she'd been bitten.

When the computer fails to bite her, or to in any way react to her behavior, she realizes that there are words on the screen, and that the words are telling her something about a... video recording...? “Say something,” it says.]

H... hello...?

[Her voice is tiny to match the rest of her. She finally slides properly into view, very slowly, watching the computer with an expression that clearly states she fully expects the magic light-up box to fly off of the table and bite her in the face at any moment. Technology is scary. She doesn't even know what that word means, but it sounds scary and alien to her. She's only even touched a video game once and thinks that cameras can steal your soul, okay.]

What a strange thing... what does it do...? Misha-san said that you can use it to talk to people, but... I don't see anyone.

I-- is anyone the-- ah!

[She accidentally hit a button. Oops. The video shuts off briefly.]

[The video clicks on once again a few seconds later-- this time, she seems a bit less hesitant. She smiles sheepishly, fidgeting with her hair.]

Um... hello. I'm sorry about that before... I don't know very much about, um, computers at all. Higuchi-san and Misha-san tried to explain it, and I... I think I understand how to speak to you now, at least. Although I'm not... really sure who you are. Higuchi-san helped me set up an a... account here, at least, although it already had a name chosen for me-- it's all very strange and confusing.

[Though she's still smiling weakly, it falters for a moment, her nerves properly showing through.]

He didn't seem to know where this machine came from, either, but... he seems to think it could be good for me to have one. I asked Misha-san, and she said that it must've been a miracle. [She smiles a bit more naturally at that. But then it disappears as she remembers something suddenly--]

Oh-- I-I'm sorry, I'm just so nervous, I must have forgotten. My name is Shia. [she gives a small bow, even though it's just a video post to an internet community.] It's a pleasure meeting all of you.

Um... if it isn't too strange to ask... who are all of you?
