[ there's some giggling going on behind a camera, though the picture's black. the giggles seem to get louder before there's a happy little sigh ]

You guys~ You'll never guess what I've found while I've been sleeping!

[ and here's a lovely picture of Shelly de Killer that she's found. she makes sure to send it to the community on her phone, of course. she knows the camera isn't working well... ]

Wow! You'd never guess that a guy like this could have such a bod♥ Shelly~ Why didn't you tell me before that you were so muscular?

By the way, is anything interesting happening? I saw people turn into...magic girl things -- you all looked very adorable though! Even the men in your little skirts~ Tidus looked very nice! Especially when he came back to his room and was still wearing that silly outfit. [ she laughs ]

But, since I've been resting, I feel like I've been missing a few things. Would anyone like to let a sweet girl like me know what's going on? Or at least let me know how you all are!

THE GREAT KAMINA

video backdated to the 19 // magical girls desuuuu
[whatever is left of this bedroom is completely wrecked.  torn pages of comics, broken wood, bent metal...the place looks like a hurricane tore through it.  that hurricane's name is 'thor and kamina'.  the two are sprawled out in a corner within arm's length of one another, punching each other in the head once they've gathered enough strength.]

Admit that Tuxedo Jane is my true love, [thor mumbles.]

No.

[cue more exhausted punching.

might i point out they're dressed in poofy skirts with tons of lace?

Of all the viruses not to get, I'm glad it was that one.  Guys shouldn't be magical girls.  It's sorta creepy.

Anyway, I had two questions for everyone not related to that.  The first was if anyone had a favorite piece of classical music.  If you remember the composer, that's okay, and if not, that's okay, too.  Answering isn't important if you don't want to.  I was just curious.  The second is...this is hard to ask.  But--well....

Could someone tell me what high school is like?

Ezio Auditore da Firenze
22 August 2012 @ 12:46 pm
video;
[So here is Ezio. Without the fancy robes, without the mask, and crossing his arms. The scene behind him is one that overlooks the Piazza Republica, and he tilts his head, as if considering something, before speaking.]

For those who were curious about my whereabouts or identity over the past few days-- I believe the communìta was up to its usual tricks again.

[He laughs a little before pacing, smile wide and as he continues, it's clear he's embarrassed.]

I am no vigilante in a mask, I do not wear special robes, and La Maschera is not my name. I am Ezio Auditore da Firenze, a noble born and raised right here, in Florence.

[A pause, he knows so many people are going to tease him for this.]

Most of the things I was able to do during the virus do not belong to me, however- [And you can see him tilt the book to look out upon the skyscape of Florence.] I can climb buildings and run across rooftops. It is a hobby for me, one my brother taught me very well. [A pause as he considers something else.] Allora, since I am clarifying things, I may as well let you know more about myself and the world I come from, sì?

[...there's a reason he's doing this. He's kind of tired of repeating himself.]

The year here is 1476, in Italy, and we are in the middle of the... [He stops to remember the name-] "Renaissance," as I am told. We do not have such things as cars, driving, the internet, and especially access codes. I still do not see a point in numbers by a door. So if you are trying to tell me anything about il futuro, it will probably not make sense to me, unless you explain it further.

And for those who do not have numbered years, my time is considered "young" to many. We are still in the process of discovering many new things. The culture here is currently wrapped around art, music, and creativity.

[And setting the book back down again.] I also speak Italian, as you may have noticed. It is the native tongue here, and if you are curious as to what I am saying, do not feel embarrassed to ask. Nicely. [YES MINATSUKI, THAT'S FOR YOU TYVM.]

That is all that I can offer, communìta. Grazie.

 Oh, man.  Headache.

[Danny steps into view rubbing his head and wincing at the light.]

Please tell me that the last few days were just a very messed up dream.  Please?

And if they did happen?  Never mention it to me again.  Especially if my sister ever shows up here.

[In all his horror at the memories of his life as Tuxedo Phantom Danny has unfortunately forgotten that he never showed up in human form during the event.]

I turn my back for a few days and things here go straight to hell.

Everywhere I look there are miniskirts, which would be fine with me if all of those miniskirts were on the right people.

Not to mention the campy bad guys, purple gowns, and would-be charmers...my influence should be more affected this time around.

And how about those nudist monks.

And...where are you Spotty?

Though according to my sources I've been out of this game for more than just a few days...so I'm guessing I just missed out on one whopper of a virus.

Bane [The Dark Knight Rises]

[locked from John Blake]
[An intimidating man is looking down at you, DDD. One wearing an intricate mask of tubes that covers the lower half of his face, so that they only clear feature left is his eyes. Said eyes squint down before shifting into an appearance of wry amusement.

In a muffled, accented voice, he addresses the community congenially -- those his eyes narrow a bit as he speaks:]

So, it seems our computers have been overtaken by some little birds. How curious.

Tell me, little ducks: what are you doing here? I don't believe we've ever been acquainted.

I'm afraid you're being a bit of a nuisance. My comrades and I are due to be kidnapped tomorrow and we have quite a bit to plan before it occurs.

[The video opens on a small dark-haired woman in 1890 style clothing sitting in a chair by a window and reading.  It takes her a few moments and several pages before she notices the appearance of a new book on the table.  Setting her other book aside, she frowns severely as she picks up the open book.]

I had been quite certain I knew the appearance of every book in this household.  Even with how many father has collected over the years.  But this I do not recognize.  How ever could it have gotten here?

Takashi Natsume

video; text;
[ Natsume sits in class, looking tired with his hand over his face and sighing, then another boy leans back in his chair closer to Natsume. ]

What's wrong, Natsume? You finally start having love problems?

No, that's not it. Just didn't get much sleep.

[ The boy leans closer, shoulder to shoulder with Natsume now with a teasing look on his face. ]

Up late reading naughty books again?

[ Natsume smiles and laughs, turning toward him more. ] No way.

[ A girl, Sasada, comes over. ] What, what? What's going on with Natsume?

[ Nishimura rocks back and forth in his chair. ] Nothing that has to do with girls!

What? That's no fun!

[ And Nishimura rocks too far back and falls straight down to the floor with a flail. Natsume turns around to look at Nishimura on the floor and Sasada looks surprised, then Natsume laughs. The teacher comes back so everyone returns to their seats, and Natsume turns his attention to his notebook. He notices it's a little duckier than it should be and sighs again, then switches the post to text instead of video. OOC: Italics was Nishimura and bold was Sasada. ]

If you met someone that's warned you about something and left, but you don't know what it is, how do you deal with it?

No sound or video, I'm in class. The community doesn't have any sense of timing, I need my notebook back.

[Dated to after the Sailor moon virus]
Dear whatever-it-is-that-is-in-charge-of-this-community,

I stay away from the community for a while, and what happens? I get virused.

Going around and kicking ass I didn't mind. That's something I do on a regular bases. What I did mind was being put in that outfit! The next time this place decides to dress me up as some anime fan's wet dream, I think I'm going to snap and go on a fucking killing spree. Just so you know.

No Love,
Cinderella.

Well, that felt good to get off my chest.

King Bowser Koopa
22 August 2012 @ 04:58 pm
[video]
(there's static for a few moments as the camera gets jostled around.  when it comes to rest, it's placed slightly off-kilter.  a somewhat diagonal Bowser appears, looking somewhat pleased.)

All right, Ducks.  I've found some new information that should turn things around for me: there's a thing called a Star Rod that's been granting everyone else's wishes.  Sounds great, right?  But it's been totally ignoring my wishes.  I aim to change that.

For once, I'm gonna make a wish, and it's finally going to come true.  There's only one problem.  This Rod is kept in a shrine in some sparkly land where all the Stars live.  My Koopa Kopter can't make it all the way up there, and Kammy's asthma doesn't like altitude, so that's where I need some help.

I've heard of some lupine mechanic around here who might be able to give the Kopter a boost.  I'm willing to pay loads of coins and grant honorary member status in my Koopa Troop in exchange.  Oh yeah, and you'd need to help make some modifications to my castle. (casually flashes a blueprint showing Bowser's Castle atop a gigantic version of the Koopa Kopter) Nothing major.  Probably.

(Bowser pokes at the camera in an attempt to turn it off.  instead, it falls backwards and is now showing a stone-brick ceiling and the back of his monitor.  the sounds of moving objects can be heard, as Bowser mutters under his breath about the "stupid camera".  eventually, the camera moves again, apparently being held, and shuts off.)

[video] ⚡ YAKETY SAX, YO
[Something a little different is coming from Narukami today--in fact, the first two thirds of this post don't even have him in it. Weird, isn't it?]

[Featuring the usual company, today's broadcast is a little...strange. Featuring two minutes of hijinks deserving of the Mission Impossible theme and one that requires Yakety Sax.]

[A day in the life of the Investigation Team, folks.]

[ooc: Joint post with Yosuke because reasons. Expect tags from both, whoop whoop]

[anonymous] [back dated to Sailor Moon Virus]
So...I'm pretty new to this Sailor Soldier thing, and I was wondering what do you guys do about secret identities. Do you even bother keeping one, or do you let people know who you are? I'm traveling with a group of people right now and they don't know that I'm a soldier. I don't know if I should tell them, or keep it a secret. I trust them all. More than I've trusted anyone, but I don't want them to get in trouble because of me - because of who I am.

I guess this just goes out to all the other Sailor Soldiers out there. What do you think is better? Keeping the secret or letting it out?
