[Naoki's post starts up showing a dimly lit room, the sound of a very Nineties keyboard loudly clacking away. The view pans to Naoki's face, eyes bagged and haggard. Its almost a minute before he looks away to see that he's recording. He smiles and waves weakly]

Oh, hey guys. Sorry I haven't been on lately. Things have been really busy here. And! And I've been doing some digging and I think I found something.

[Yep, he's still on his 'ITS A CONSPIRACY!!!1!' kick from when his Kamen War video was taken down. The screen is filled with news articles entitled 'Cybers Corp. communication tower projected delayed' and another with the headline 'Cybers Tower building resumed in Yoyogi Park']

Apparently, according to these articles, Cybers Corporation, a major communication group had begun building a major signal relay tower in Yoyogi Park, but it ended up running into some major legal issues that delayed it. Then just after my video was taken down, those problems just up and....vanish. And I think...

[Just as he was going to get some steam in his obvious rant, his phone beeps. He looks down to the message and his expression flushes into a frown.]

Oh. Uh crap. You guys have any idea what's good to get a sick teacher? Isamu just sent me a mail that Yuko-sensei was just admitted to a hospital and wants my help to wish her well. Still wish I knew why he keeps asking for my help when it comes to dealing with her...

[The feed cuts off there as he murmurs silently]

[On this day, Naoki re-appears on the community. He's got a little grin on his face]

Ah, great! Been trying to get my camera and phone and computer to work the community thing on all of them. Looks like it works! Anyways, I've got a question guys.

[His face twists, looking concerned yet confused]

You guys all remember the Rider War right? Well, after Kefka saved me from the monsters, I went back and got my camera. Recorded the whole final battle and everything! [GRIN GRIN! But no this is srs face time!] Anyways, when I got back, after I saved it on a disk for me to watch later, I uploaded it online. And for a couple of weeks it was the hottest thing online! But then someone took it down and banned my account! I tried uploading it again on an anonymous proxy but it was taken down that same day! And all the reports about all the damage are just saying it was a 'terrorist attack'!
So I'm wondering, is this some kind of a community thing or...is it something just on my side?

[ooc: For the sake of this post, its primarily just his world. The forces in control of the demons are trying to keep things quiet.]

Thanks
Thanks all for helping out. I wasn't able to prevent the battle, but I did manage to prevent the follow up from happening. I'm going to take a breather, and stay in the World Without Riders around 2009 or so.

So, again, thanks for everything. And anyone who wants an explanation of why that invasion happened, just ask.

[Locked to Kendrix and Yuri -- poorly.]

Yuri, can I stay in your place for a while? I've drained the DiendDriver severely with the summoning of Kamen Rider J, let alone using the FFR on Tsukasa.

Kendrix, I want to say thanks for covering for me, and I'll be by later once I get settled in.

[Behold: a bed in a stone-hewn bedroom. A bed full of sheets and rather more quilts than are probably necessary. There is movement under the quilts like the beginnings of an earthquake. Something rolls out from under the quilts and onto the floor, something small and blonde and wearing fluffy red pajamas.]

I'm awake, Sarge...ugh. I'm up, I'm up. [Kefka sits up and rubs his face. He looks tired, and his hair is long and tangled.] How am I expected to get up when there's nothing to get up for? At least being in the military meant I had a proper schedule.

[Then he notices the floating camera.] Hey! Community book! [He jumps up and tackles it, sending the screen blurring red and grey and blonde. When it recovers, Kefka's set the book up so it can face him on a white vanity; the table is covered with cosmetics.]

[Kefka picks up a brush and waves it at the camera.]
You have to stay her
e so I can talk to you, you naughty page-flapping phase-clapper! [He pauses, then adds matter of factly:] My connection to the community is alive, so I have to make sure it's paying attention to what I say or it'll fly off and ditch me for a few months like a very very bad flying book monster. It looks like a lot of you are new, so let's get some introductions going!

I am Sir Kefka Palazzo, formerly of the Gestahlian Empire, currently god of the world of Woolsey. [He bows.] I'm bored out of my mind because it turns out 90% of being a god is doing upkeep to make sure the world is running properly, make sure the monsters are fed, blah blah blah I need something to do. If you need a fighting companion, new armor or weapons, he
aling supplies, miracle cures, et cetera, I can provide it for a reasonable price! Or we can talk! Talking is very reasonable and I want to know all of you new people. [Beat.] Talk to me now. Do it.

[The video shows a white-haired young man, wearing some kind of robes. He hums quizzically and smiles.]

Y'know, I'm pretty well-versed when it comes to magic items, but I've never seen anything like this before. A journal that talks back? Definitely a new one! I kinda wish I'd thought of it myself, but oh well. The ducks are a nice touch!

I wonder how this happened to my journal, though...

Maybe one of the other mages used it for an experiment and then left it here. People leave important stuff lying around all the time.

Or maybe... I actually found a cursed item and by opening and reading it, I just doomed myself to a really horrible death! [He sounds pretty casual about that possibility and, if anything, his smile actually brightens a little.] That'd be something!

...

Or maybe it was just a fluke earlier and I'm sitting here talking to myself like a crazy person. It wouldn't be the first time, ha ha!

I would like to request your advice, community. Of those of you who deal with... admittedly strange people on a regular basis, what is the strangest thing they've ever done that you have had to help with, even though you disapproved of it? What did you do in that situation?

...furthermore, does this situation you were in compare in any way, by level of strangeness or otherwise, to a certain somebody holding public auditions in a talent show format in order to search for additions to her harem?

[A teen's face suddenly appears on the video options. He's clearly new, if the confused expression is to gauge. Plus, who would have such a strange demon-print jacket?]

You know, this kind of site is the stuff people on the Ayakashi Monthly Forums would love to see. 'Fantastic Duck Site that infects your computer and forces you to talk to it!' Real chain e-mail kind of stuff. But that's not really the case here, is it? Magic, demons, gods, alternate worlds, sentai and magical girls and more...

[His face cracks a gleeful grin]

This is so cool.
