Well, mostly it's taken care of through potions. Cure magic is common enough to learn, but it takes some skill. Someone who's just learned magic isn't going to be able to use it until maybe a few months into training, and that's for basic healing--cuts and bruises.
Potions I am familiar with, actually. They're a very useful medication. Cure magic sounds just as useful, though certainly rarer, from what you've said. I wonder, do you have no doctors in your world, Aqua-chan?
It's hard to when you're supposed to travel a lot. There are doctors on the different worlds we travel to, but we used magic for all healing in the Land of Departure. We were trained that you'll never know where you'll end up next.
It's a mix. Most medicine in our world is via medical professionals, doctors and nursing staff. Although there's some rare cases when witches such as Miyafuji have healing magic.
Although those cases are a lot more rare, and I've only known of one Romangna Unit who has a healer anywhere close to Miyafuji's level of healing power. Although she has difficulty controlling it.
I can say that is the first I've heard of both magic and science used for the same goals. I'm that that is so somewhere. But it is mainly medical staff who helps you?
That's correct. There's a lot of medicine that healers are unable to take care of, and most magical healers tend to learn actual medicine for proper diagnosis instead of simply closing wounds.
Magic, magic-enhanced technology, knowledge of local herbology and anatomy, using the essence of death in order to regain life, plucking feathers off magic birds, et cetera. You can do a lot on my world!
We do have them too, but... I didn't really think that there could be too big a difference in treatment outside of what technology's available. Now that I think about it, though, with the places this connects to, incantations or medicine so advanced it's more like a potion shouldn't be impossible.
If those started crossing world borders, it'd be worth the viruses and the hassle a hundred times over.
Mm... mostly the same as most other Earths, I think. Some Puella Magi can use healing magic, but I'm not really sure how that works, and well... it's not the sort of thing just anyone can do, so it probably doesn't count.
If it's your wish, it can give you those powers, from what I understand. A very rare case. Doctors and hospitals seems common, though many use a sort of magic, as well.
Mm, but I think some girls can learn to do it, too. At least, Mami-san said she'd taught herself. [ not that she knows exactly what Mami's wish was... ]
In any case, I know we don't have any other kinds of magic here. Why are you asking, Kasumi-san? Are you trying to decide what sort of healer you might like to be?

[action he most certainly is, while they take a break from their chores]
Magic is not common where I'm from, but it seems to here in this world. I think so, at least. What sort of craft did you use?
